how bout the ride quality between 18" to 19"... did you notice a big difference?
To be honest, I haven't realize any difference, but one thing I have to remind you is that you have to be more cautious with 19". I have to slow down alot more often. Our first Gen GS is pretty heavy and my 19" is pretty thin because I'm running 235/35/19 in front and 265/30/19 in rear. If I up one notch I think it will ride better and less worries but I like the look on this set up more. Luckily the Volk SF Challenge is a 2 pieces forge which is pretty strong in my opinion because there were few incident I thought I bend the wheels but nothing happen but if it was some cheap imitation brand I'm positive it would be a difference story.
I'm for 20s. My first set of wheels were 19s and they looked good, but there was quite a bit of gap. The car was lowered on Eibachs at the time. I sold the 19s and bought 20s, which filled the gap up a bit more. I am now on my 3rd set of wheels and they are 20s. The car is on Tanabe DF210s now and it looks just right to me. If you're going with coilovers and you can slam the car, 19s look great too.
IMO, im all for 19's, with the right offset right stance, it looks hot, dont get me wrong though, there are a few running 20's that look good, but 19's do it for me, shameless plug....
I have 20's and have never driven on 19's so i guess i have to go for the 20's. does anyone have a picture with 19's and Eibach Springs on a first gen GS??
