turbo whining, leak or screwed up?

Prices range 100$-250$ , anything over 150$ comes with manifold. Most of them have little shaft play, some have none. Theres more you just got to search.

I have to agree with GofastTSI , For a first timer(has basic tools , and some know-how) it might be time consuming, but its not difficult especially with all the help and information that is available on the 2jzgte.

My turbos that i sold off my first engine set (Aristo) did go cheap.. i think around $100. I have another set in the garage from this engine set if you want them Anthony.. I'll let them go for the same $100.. no shaft play, been on the shelf for a few years. They are JDM (ceramic)
I do know where a solid USDM set is here in town for maybe $300... manifold and all. owner went single on his 98 MKIV.

congratulations, it appears as tho you can't read what i've wrote, before you wasted time searching.
all but 1 of those links, are for JDM twins, not USDM
but either way, for someone to do the work, and then get someone to tune it, and build a downpipe and intercooler piping, it would be hard to do RIGHT for under 1500 including all the parts

I did read what you said, u asked for a link, regardless of how many jdm there are for cheap, there is still a Usdm for cheap. Maybe YOU werent reading my post, I said the kit is a full kit, meaning it comes with downpipe and intercooler piping, and if you want to judge its reliability or whether its done right, then you have more than just me to argue with, you have proven results and a ****load of members on club na-t and club lexus. If you dont have the time or required skill maybe you should go to a mechanic, but if the OP can learn how to do it on his own, good for him. Maybe he can do it for you. OP never said if he had USDM or JDM, my responces were to help the OP, while yours seem to be trying to prove me wrong, in which you failed, there are Usdm and Jdm turbos for relatively cheap, even if there is just 1 usdm in the posting, it is still for cheap, maybe u shood go buy it if ur turbos are really going bad.
Also if your going to tell someone to do something right, follow your own advice. Your Exhaust cut out makes your car run lean , go get it tuned. Your just reducing your engine life.

Yeah actually I sold my z and even though it was just a NA car I would much rather work on turbos on the 2JZGTE than the tt 300zx. Thanks epik, thats cheap, I think the turbos might be fine because it sounds kinda like when you blow a balloon up and pull it tight to let the air out, i just cant find the leak besides where the factory bov bolts on the hard pipes. Also I noticed now that the sensor that has two vacuum lines run to it near the rear turbo, one of the shafts that the hose connects to is broken on that sensor. Where besides toyota can i get that sensor and what is it called?

acutally, to prove you wrong again, while my cutout is open, and i'm boosting at 15PSI, my a/f is just fine, the cars run stupid lean stock. so leaning it out slightly is no big deal. and cars are a waste of money, i have better things to spend my money on, than a piggyback ECU and a couple hours of tuning time. the car runs fine as it is
Let me prove you wrong for the last time, Your AFR cant be "just fine" on stock ECU with an Exhuast cut out. Do you have an accurate AFR guage? Our cars dump fuel at WOT so just because your boosting 15psi does not mean your tuned correctly. Your AFR is going to be different with your cutout open and closed, so without a piggyback/standalone/tuning its impossible to get ideal AFR's. If you cant afford to do it right dont do it, since your the one emphasizing on doing it right. You seem to be posting without anything positive to add to the OP's situation, Im letting him know they can be found for cheap, if hes JDM or USDM, other members like Epik are actually offering him them too, all you have been doing is inputing information that you have no personal experience in. Get off your high horse. If you have nothing to help the OP dont bother posting.

regardless if you can get the kit for 1400 or not, the FM system's usually aren't cheap, and the tuning is a different story, i dont know what your scene is like down there, but to get the FM system tuned, would be about 500 or so, depending on the amount of dyno pulls up here.
plus the management system, would put you over 2000.
i was referring to getting everything done, and the car on the road, not just the parts.
