Default resistor swap in lamp failure modual

i Put 94+ tail lights on my Aristo/GS300 which is a 93.The 92-93 tail lights have 3 bulb harness and the 94+ has 2 bulb harness.as you know when u put new tails on older car the tail light indicator light turns on the dash. They said to make the new style lights to work on the old car you have to change 2 resistors in the lamp failure modual.does anyone know which size resistors you have to change them to?

u have an extra a 92-93 module or a extra 94+ module?

What u could also do is use the old harness and cut the plug for the bulb and add a resistor between the wires but u would have to measure the resistance with a meter with the bulb powered on and the get that value resiistor

hope that helps
