Default 2jzgte bad MAP sensor?

Lately I have been having issues with running horribly rich, backfiring at WOT, hesitation and it felt very similar to a boost leak. I have changed plugs, new O2 sensor and checked all IC pipes and boost lines which checked out fine. I was looking at the line which attaches to the underside of the MAP and noticed the sealant on the underside of the MAP sensor has melted off and was covering the side of my intake manifold and the vacuum hose attached to it. I am guessing this is my problem but the car isn't throwing any codes. Also I notice the smell of gas vapors near that area as well which makes sense as that vacuum line also goes into a union with another line to the FPR. Thoughts?
