So i bought a crapload of white 194 LED's for my gauge cluster from superbrights led's, installed them in my cluster and it looked very nice. Awesome bright, made the red of the needles stand out a lot and the cluster looked like defi gauges. Very nice and bright and shiny ...






until after a week . One light started to flicker... then another... and another... another went out althogether... till only 1 was on.

Out of the 9 led's on the cluster, 1 standed more than a week before I removed them and tried blue tinted incandescent 194... which FAIL miserably specially after seeing how bringt LED's can be.

My question is: where can I buy GOOD QUALLITY LED bulbs? I am never buying anything from super bright; they failed miserably.

I started to not trust online stores since it gives me the apperance they get theit LED's fromt he same china factory....

i agree, thats where i got the ones for mine and a buddy and the exact same thing happened. I thought it was the bulbs at first but after trying different bulbs from different companies I think it is the new bases/sockets that caused the concern so I've gotten new bulbs with bases already attached and its been about a month, no problems yet.

Did you use the stock bulb sockets or replace them with new ones? All the lights that I used the stock bulb sockets with worked like a charm; the ones I but new bases on because I broke the old ones started to flicker and die.

all the bulbs from sellers on Ebay, are the EXACT same bulb, made in china, or hong kong, it's a luck thing, either get a **** lot, or not, mine have been in my car for over 9 months now, and not ONE has gone out on me. out of all the 50+ cars i've sold kits to, I've only had to send replacement bulbs out to about 4 different people.

i have the blue leds in mine,i dont feel that color that much.i want to keep the factory color of the lights but amp them up with the white leds.what are the bulb size for the warning light,the speedo and tach and gear select?

What is the base size I need to order? I did NOT replaced the bases and that is probably why my lights crapped out on me.

Can any1 confirm that 194 will work for the cluster bulbs and AC lights? I thought it was another bulb.

I don't know what type of base it is... can anyone chime in here and confirm the type of base to purchase the LED bulb WITH the base?
