My GS300 N/A swap
I've been putting a clean running engine in my Lex.
Out with the old..
In with the new...
The old one was a ***** to remove...
The bright underdrive pulley is whole reason for this costly mess. POS...
NEVER PUT AN UNDERDRIVE CRANK PULLEY ON A 2JZ ENGINE!
What's left of the car.
Now all I have to do is switch the fuel injectors (440cc on JDM motor 550cc on old motor) and oil pans, and change the seals, then put this engine in the car.
After I replace a broke motor mount, still waiting on the part (went with an MKIV TT engine mount).

but i cant really tell which motor are you putting in??
btw fyi a little late to tell you now but it would have been easier to leave the whole wiring harness on the motor and just unplug it from the ecu

Thanks, you must know how much 'fun' the process is then.lol
The engine I'm putting in is the one that's still on the pallet in the pics. It's just a JDM GE with 45k miles, no turbo yet.
Also I found out the hard way about the wire harness, lol a friend told me so I took it off to put on the new one before installing it, thanks for tip. BTW how's the TT Aristo swap coming?

To be honest it just happened that way, the local engines out here looked beatup and just rough condition in general. It doesn't have an egr system and I read somewhere the JDM GE has 440cc injectors vs USDM 550cc injectors so it might have a little more power than a USDM engine.

Finally finished
Well, I got it done. It was interesting but I'm glad it's over, now I get to drive.
Here's some pics of the week-long progess.
The motor while installing the wire harness.
The bad news is the Supra TT motor mount doesn't fit.
Putting the engine in was an even bigger pita than removing it, took 1 1/2 hrs to line up the motor with the mounts.smh
The best part was when the mounts lined up and the weight of the engine made the car squat back down like it was about to play football.lol
And here are some car wash pics.
Cleared the lights too.
I just noticed I didn't take any underhood pics.

Somebody sell me a turbo kit.
Thanks! the wheels are HP Racing wheels 18 x 8.5 with 245/40 ZR18 rubber, not sure what the offset is though.
Now all I have to do is detail it.
