HIDs in the Fog Lamps
#31
deknick,
in the aristo, aren't the bulbs for the foglights 9006? in the gs3s they are h3 bulbs, and the process is a little different. Its still not hard at all, but i can understand if someone has no familiarity with HIDs would want some pics
and still, the original point of the thread was to see if HIDs in the fogs would blind others, which they do

Dang what's up with this?? Can't I just ask for some advice...honestly?? I've installed HID's several times and YES I am familiar w/ the process. Very EASY like you said...but I haven't attempted to do the HID's for the fogs because they are H3 bulbs I believe and there is a separate wire attached to them. This is what my main concern was due to the fact that the housing itself holds the bulb and wire. It's gonna be a process...but I was only seeking opinions as to what you guys did.
installing HID's in the foglights are **** easy. did both of mine in under 30 minutes. and half that time was finding where to mount the ballast. but luck had it, i was able to use a screwhole from where the charcoal canister was on the one side. and on the other side, a mounting point where the SMIC used to be.
how is it a hard project? i don't understand. plug a ballast in, and plug the fog light into that, and then a light into the ballast. it's not rocket science.
can anyone explain why it would be hard on yours?
