Default Help? Car running rough.

Hi all i recently purchased a 1995 Lexus Gs300 Touring edition. When i purchased it the seller informed me that it may need a tune up as its been sitting for a long while. Well my question is do you all think the car needing a tune up would make it run rough? It doesn't run smooth at all feels to me like a car with to low of an idle but it feels like that all the time. I'm not throwing any codes on the dash or anything. Its not smoking running hot or anything actually it runs fine just really rough. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
