Default CLIMATE/AC LED lights

Hey guys...
Like most of you...this was one of my first mods. However, almost every light has burnt out, and the one's that do work...flicker on and off randomly.

Is this a problem w/ everyone else too...or is it my crappy install??

I bought the LED's off of eBay at the time...gotta good deal of course.

I just want a nice working unit. I had O.L.T. "Lextech" do the guages and needles...but I guess he won't touch 1st gen GS climate/ac.

Help me out guys...

I don't have any issues with my center console lights flickering. I also had Lextech do the instrument cluster back light and needs. Great improvement!

I hear your pain man, why don't you hit up the LED Guru (deknick) he's on here look at his Sticky's. He was willing to do a led kit for me for my AC/HEAT center unit, and shifter, cluster floor, and key ring, and courtesy door lights. So mess. him see if he can set you up w a kit, I was going to, but ran into some money issues, so mods are set back for awhile!!!

Timbo,

Here's a thread which I shared some pictures of the led kit I purchased from Nick (a.k.a. Deknick).

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...-upgraded.html

All of the leds are still working to this date. Hope this helps !

Danny

I had the same issue after I got LED's from super brights.... it is the quality of LED that determines durability and anti-flicker. Just my .02

EVERY led is g oign to flicker eventually. even the expensive ones i've bought for my car, that were about 7 times the price of the ones in the kits i've sold are.

ALL led's come from the same place in china or hong kong anyway

thx for your input everyone. AND thx deknick for your honesty. i'll just have to redo the whole thing again. it just sucks because i bought these LED's in bulk, and I gotta go through each one due to color variations. if i complete the job any time soon, i'll post new pics. thx for the help again guys
