Default anyone done jdm 2jzgte to usdm version for smog???

i'm new to the forum and had read about the 2jzgte aristo swap in gs300, here is my questions..

i'm in CA and would like to have 2jzgte swap... i'm sure it will not pass with jdm version. anyone in smog states with 2jzgte to usdm version?

Aside from Registering it in AZ? Change to a US head with EGR.

why would it not pass SMOG?

doesn't that have to do with emissions?
sorry i'm not from US so i don't really know what smog is.

wouldn't it have to do with exhaust emissions? or is it more in depth than that

beside the head/egr... i heard there are alot of things to make it a usdm smog legal 2jzgte motor.
there are some vsv.... o2 sensors... and couple more things that i'm not sure..
does anyone here in the forum that done this swap that could give some help?
i know it needs usdm harness and computer, egr valve, some said throttle body is slightly different...drilling the head and intake plenum...ect..!!!!

if someone has done this and have known for sure what is needed to be done... that would help alot...

thank you

smog is the only thing keeping me from swapping my cars. dont want to deal with the hassle of finding someone who will pass it.

A hot smog is not that bad, I have 2 240sx that have JDM motors and the gs soon to be 2jzgte. Sure its about 150-200 per vehicle but you gotta "pay to play".

wait around on supraforums and check the local scene to see who wrecks their usdm supra and take their motor.
