Default Antenna question

I went through the DIY radio writeup and didnt see any answer on what to do with the 2 antenna plugs that went into the stock radio. As i will be needing one of them which one to use or discard? And also if im using a AMP to power my speakers do I still have bypass the amplifier? Can i just run my speaker wires to the amp and run my rca's to my headunit from my amp. ALso will be running a enclosed ported subwoofer and an amp for that itself.

You need only standard antenna entry which is standard for aftermarket head units(Which is larger than another one)...And yes you still need to bypass your factory AMP..Because every aftermarket head unit has build in AMP If you don't bypass your factory AMP you won't hear any sound or it will make very bad noise..Your AMP is just inside your trunks right side there is some sockets you have to take them out one of is for input another one is for output...Take them out and connect each cable with same color codes...Like that you will by pass your factory AMP...

SO just by disconnecting the amp can I still use the speaker wires that are in the dash? I just dont want to have to run wires all the way to the front from the rear. If this is true someone needs to add this to the DIY sticky. After reading through it i gathered that bypassing the amp and running wires was the only way.

Yes you still can use your factory speaker wires but it is very hard to find right harness for your car you can use toyota harness for speakers but for power and ground you have to find them by yourself I already forgot what color was it...There is 3 sockets one of is for speakers only(toyota harness can fit that socket but you can only use speaker wires) another one i think blue one has power and ground..You don't have to use third one ...And also if you want to use your factory antenna you have to find right wire for it...

I hooked up my radio and I have no sound. Im using the white harness from the cd player. According to the wiring diagram im using the correct harness...and from the write up I just unplugged the amplifier thinking that wuld bypass it. I just dot want to run wires from he trunk to the front espcially when im gonna be hooking up my sub and amp.
