Default 93 gs300 manual swap

well my auto tranny gave up on the dyno. so its time to swap the auto out. just for info we made 300 horse and 295 foot pounds before the tranny started slipping so bad it was over. oh and by the way i would like to post pics of the process but i dont know how. any way i have a 1jzgte vvti and auto trans fr4om a chaser jzx100. i put in an aem computer to get more and begin the quest for 4dr supra power. i am going to put in the r154 from a mk3 supra. i have collected almost all the parts i need i am waiting on driftmotion to get the shifter housing extended and back to me then its all good from there. i decided to use a willlwood pedal beacuse i wanted to leave the park brake in the stock location. i will keep this going with pics if someone can pm me with instructions on how to post pics

Sounds like a fun swap. You know, the mkiv supra pedal will fit next to the stock brake pedal, you just need to move the parking brake. I used a parking brake out of a mr2 and mounted it on the tranny tunnel. Or I guess you could use an SC one too.

Nice bro. I would like to see some pics of your progress. I'm thinking about doing a manual conversion also. But I need to do some maintenance first before starting on the project :P If you need any help with getting the pics up let me know or email it to me and I'll get it up. I think it'll benefit a lot of folks to see what goes into a manual conversion.

I used an MKIV clutch pedal for my 6spd conversion. Pretty straight forward, just had to fab a bracket and welded it to the crash bar that goes across under the dash. I think the hardest part was flattening out the firewall to get the master cylinder to sit flat.

Congrats on the successful swap! Pics please!!!

3. Once uploaded, go to each individual image, and click the share link.
4. Copy the complete "IMG for bulletin boards & forums" full size [IMG] link.
