Since my last post on here the engine developed rod knock. So I parked it and pulled the motor.

New low milege jdm engine from attarco should be here tomorow.

New parts list:

Hks super sequential BOV
2.5 intercooler kit
Driftmotion t series turbo fittings
Cool it exhaust wrap
Transmission filter and royal purple atf fluid

More pics tomorow

progress
Motor arved today. Everything on the motor checked out ok, my one complaint is they spray painted parts of the engine silver and black to make it look newer. o well, I would diffenently order from them again.

5 hours later I got the harness swapped over, throttle body swapped, trans and torque converter mounted.

This also showed up today.

Why did you go with another ge motor? What was the price difference between the motor you got and the tt aristo motor? Also did you shim the actuators on the tranny while you have it out?

Was a cheaper route for me to continue with the ge. Cost me 685 shipped from cal to Tex, low miles 30 to 50k. Couldn't find a tt aristo motor for less than 2k shipped.
No I didn't shim it, what will that do? Herd of people having Problems with the tranny not shifting at high rpm after the turbo swap. Would this help?
