If you get all the 5spd parts going for the 2JZ then swap out for a 1UZ none of the parts cross over...unless you meant 1JZ...

nope im talking all 4.0 liters of god ness my friends lol But i understand your confusion my car will be five speed swapped with na 2jz that's in so we can already have the shifter extension clutch pedal and drive shaft made. Then after the money in the shop starts rolling in we'll use the 1uz to w58 adapter plate to bolt the 5 spd to the v8. U do this with the v8 bell housing with a howes throwout bearing mated with a spacer u then have to take a custom/custom drilled 3sge flywheel so that u can use a w58 clutch on the v8 motor which is looking like the route i'm going. Anyon who ever attempts this be warned TO NOT USE THE FACTORY 1UZ FLYWHEEL BOLTS IT WILL IN BADLY THERE ARE TO SMALL AND WILL BREAK LOSE. Alright i think i shorthanded enough any one have any more question pm and ill try and get an answer back 2 u just wanna keep this thread on topic is all.

basically its this http://quantum-auto.com/store/index....emart&Itemid=1

Im with ya. I would go 4.3 though even though the 3uz block mounts and wiring would be different. Just to be different
Will the shifter extension line up once the 4.0 is dropped in ?

oh, that works. I was just trying to run a wire for my fan and was thinking "how the hell" there is just no space for one under the hood.
