Eibach spring drop?
Hello everyone! I recently just put on some Eibach springs on my car and it seems lower than what Eibach had indicated. The springs were suppose to drop 1-1.5", but it looks like it had dropped it 2-2.25". Take a look below and let me know what you guys think. The drop below shows two fingers, but it's actually just one...well, barely one...

not very...it was comfortable right after the install, but now I can start to feel the struts going out and getting a bit bumpy. Due to the stiffness of the springs I can also feel most if not all the bumps and cracks on the road. On the bright side though, there was a great improvement on the handling and braking

if your saying the drop is 2 fingers, well actually just 1, then it's less than 2.5" cause i can't imagine your fingers are 2" thick each.
if your complaining about a rough ride, then you shoulda bought coilovers, and not decreased the travel on stock struts.
expecting impoved handling and braking, and a lower stance, with comfort, when not able to buy adjustable coilovers, is not possible. specially on stock struts, that could potentially be 15 years old if not older

That's the standard Eibach drop, which is typically less than 1.5". Your ride issues are probably entirely related to the struts at this point. I have Tanabe DF210s, KYB struts and I am on 20s and I find the ride quality to be good. Sure, you feel a bit more of a rough road surface, but it's comfortable. Coilovers are the best solution if money is not a factor because you lower the car and retain the full range of suspension travel.

I guess it's about the right drop then. The ride isn't as comfortable as it was with the stock setup, but I'm not complaining. It looks good and rides pretty good for a spring swap. It will only be temporary until I get a new set of Teins.
