this is a thread for an IS250, lexus/toyota. its not rocket science bro, there isnt some magic stick to tap on the door or a spray you can use. you have to take the door panels off. you may have to remove trim inside the cabin if its hiding the latch/lock mechanism. depending on you car some are easier then others. this was posted here because this model car had specific issues trying to get at the latch with the door closed because of its build. other cars .most cars, are going to be easier. you may have to break some snaps to get the door cover off, but you want pretty doors or doors that work ? if you really dont want to mess with it pay the 150 dollars and have a garage take car of it, isnt that easier? im talking form experience, the time, energy and money i put into trying to things myself. it gets to be too much and you have to choose your battles.

P.S. : if ever in the accident situation, remove the headrest from the front seat and use it to brake the window. 90% of the population does not know that this is DESIGNED, its what its there for. auto glass is made to take blows from bigger things but a concentrated point like a screwdriver, etc, will shatter them.
