rear lights turn off when braking
just found out that one of my rear taillights turn off when the brake is pressed on.
when the headlights are on, all the lights work, but when i step on the brakes, the left inner taillights shuts off. I checked the bulb and replaced it with a new one. I checked the fuses and all are good.
what else can be the problem? im not good with electrical stuff.
tried searching but didnt come up with any specific fixes

Would anyone happen to know what grounds to check? Or where they're located?
I had this problem with my old supra back in the day too. But it would only happen after I washed the car...

OKAY i fixed it, well i ghetto rigged it but it works.
i checked that little black box thing and all was well, it was grounded, no rust or anything so i was stumped for a good 3 hours. then i looked at the bulb socket itself. comming out of the bulb you'll see 3 wires, one of them is white with a black line. thats the ground wire, it goes on the outside of the bulb (you'll see what i mean).
well theres a gold part that is suppose to touch the base of the socket, thats where it loss connection. so i tried soldering the ***** to get it to touch but no go, with my shakey hands and it being windy i kept melting plastic. so i ghetto rigged a ground wire from the socket and ran it the whole length of the trunk and grounded it on the inside.
it works. my brake warning light is still on but oh well.
