Hello everybody im a newbie here ...

Anyhow im doing a grey to black interior conversion and i managed to strip my interior.

While everything is out it would make it super easy to install any sound deadening material. I would say my GS is already pretty quiet minus the sunroof leak i had....

I was thinking about something like this from the firewall all the way to the trunk

Honestly, I think the majority of the noise in the GS comes from the windows and sunroof. Our cars are pretty noisy on the inside compared to modern day cars, even compared to a corolla.

Im thinking about covering up the full door behind the door panel as well as floor and trunk area.

I expect some noise from the sunroof. I might maybe put a layer behind the headliner as well.

the headliner is a good idea. i have major noise comming from the window trim area, thats the thing with these cars, the damn window trim starts to seperate.
