burp it, the way me and my bro did it when we had old supras, we jacked up the front end, took off the radiator cap, and just ran the car for a few minutes.

check your radiator cap. i had a few faulty radiator caps that would cause the temp to fluctuate.

Does anyone know what will happen if I removed my thermostat?

Your car has coolant running continuously when you remove the thermostat but I just replaced mine, only $15 to fix.

With the car off, check you fan clutch by spinning the fan, if it spins freely you probably need a new one, if it barely spins it's fine.

I changed mine , Before i was not getting much heat inside but the temp guage was fine , i noticed the upper hose was hot and the lower hose was still cool and it was easy to squeze by hand . I changed the thermostat and the heat and noticed the lower hose stiff .
