interior lights staying on? trunk light staying on? any aftermarket systems on?
if you got some know-how take a ddm and put it on amps and connect it in series with neg batt post and neg cable and if it stays above .05-.07a pull fuses till it drops and then you know your drain on atleast on that circuit

No after market, pulled all the fuses and checked with a continuity tester. Still showes a short.
So what is left? Battery cable grounding out? Starter? or...?

lol u got a ways to go man agree with boxcar check to make sure all lights especially ones on the doors that are hard to see turn of check and make sure the alternator is charging the battery properly. then check the battery leads and the ground to the body if u can find a manual for your to locate any body grounds s well that may become broken or maybe had vermin chew on it hope this helps
and a jzs147 is a toyota chassis code for a first generation or 1991-1997 lexus gs300 also know in other parts of the world as a toyota aristo

Door sensors...
I'LL BET IT'S THE DOOR SENSORS....
I had the same issue....if the door is closed all the way and the sensor is having issues, it will make the footweel lights stay on. You'll never notice it until your in the dark, like the garage or somewhere where you'll notice the lights on immediately. I put a bent paper clip into the sensor to keep the button engaged and the car battery stoppped draining out. Then I went and had a buddy of mine swap it out. He has a bunch of old GS's in his back yard! Go figure.... Anyway, check the door sensors....THAT SHOULD DO THE TRICK!
