Default GS300 a Classic?

Correct if I'm wrong, I was told a car is considered a classic after 15 years. Doesn't make sense to me, that would make every Yugo on the road an "antique"...

Can anyone shed some light to the subject.

Classic cars are normally 20-45 years old. 45+ is considered antique. The definition nowadays have deviated enough that 'classic' means something else.

Luckily for me mine is a 1993 so mine will be a classic before yours.... haha

Thats why im fixing up my gs1 and keeping it aggressively stock in 18 years it will be 35 years old.... and ill be 46.... I could sell it for a nice sum of change if i get bored of it...

The first year of the gs300 line... should be worth something someday...

rudedog, I agree with you... This car was the first of many, its timeless. Its also becoming a rare find. Nevermind trying to find parts for it. Our cars are now "restoration" projects

Not sure what they will be, the picture represents what I would like my car to look like. Trying to figure out how to achieve this look.

The actual wheels are 18: 245/45 and 275/35

I'm running the same size combo as you Rapollon what susp. mod ya got? She looks perfect now haha! As far as classic goes she is classic enough that the third gen gone back to first gen look as exterior styling. To make these cars worth classic money she got to be low mileage completely stock no alt. what so ever, even paint should be o.e!

Who is it that actually determines if a vehicle(generally) is considered a classic, and for what purpose? DMV, DHS, to determine value, insurance coverage, other factors?

It depends. Some state tag laws make cars classics in 15/20 years.

Nice 94. Classic takes 20 years. You can pick up a 90 skyline now or @ the beginning of next year because it'll be classified as a classic.
