Default 93-97 Gs300 Clearing out REAR turn signals

hey whats up guys. today i just off my rear light assembly and take a look inside. guess what i found. there is a little orange piece inside that is making our blinkers blink orange. well hopefully by today i could borrows someone heat gun and open this sucker up and remove the orange. it took me 5 minutes to remove the break light assembly from the car. and it doesn't seem like it would take me more than 5-10 minutes to clear a side. i'll have a tutorial after i do it. i'll keep you guys updated. anyone try this before??

No I haven't tried it but am curious. So is it a clear bulb with orange plastic?? I want my rear turn signals to light up red (I am assuming that is legal since alot of cars have rear turn signals, why do some have orange and other red then??) . So I wanted to lose the orange plastic and then put a red bulb in (well actually a clear bulb that lights up red so during the day you don't see anything). As far as the front goes I have gotten rid of the orange plastic, but I still want my front blinkers to light up orange so that they are legal. However you see the orange alot and I want clear glass bulbs that light up orange but can only find red ones like that, so I am stuck with the orange reflection you see in the front corners.

Oh I forgot, can you lose the orange in the rear without taking the taillight apart, I don't want to have to worry about condensation. Can you do it like the front where you can break it out without having to take apart the assembly?

I took that sucker off about 2 months ago...What I did not know was, you can heat it off. Yes the lights are white they are not yellow, I was amazed. I added a clear bulb and it was still blinking yellow. If I knew anyone was interested in this information I would have posted it.

You can't have FRONT red blinkers however can you? What do I need to do to get my rear with no orange and only red? My goal is to have red rear signals and in the front clear bulbs, but that still light orange.

Front. as for your front i know there is a company out there that makes a silver bulb i believe that blinks orange.

Rear. all you have to do is remove 4 10mm screws in the back on each side to remove your rear break light assembly. after it is removed all you have to do is eaither use a heat gun and heat up the silicon on the parimeter. or you can stick the whole assembly in the oven at 350 degree's for about 10 minutes. after that you just pop it open it up and the orange should pop right out. to seal it back up go buy some black or clear silicon and fill that baby up and put pressure on it and it should be sealed. thats it

i have seen new BMW's that have a clear turn signal with a VERY BRIGHT light output. It pretty much lit up the freeway at night when turning. The light was bright white with a hint of blue. Can we get these bulbs?
