Help! Tons of Bump Steer
I have changed outer tie rods, lower ball joints and the upper arms don't have any play. Tire pressure is good also.
I want to change the steering damper but don't know where to get one. Can someone point me in the direction of an inexpensive unit or a universal solution I can get at the local pepboys/autozone etc.

Lowered on KYB/Tanabe combo. Just checked today, no leaks and no damage. Front tires are Pirelli P6 245/40/18. The front tire pressures dropped to 30lbs so I filled to 36lbs and that alleviated some of the bump steer but not all. I'm thinking its the combination of the stabilizer and the stupid pepboys alignment I got a year ago, it pulls and travels towards the grooves in the road.

When you hit a bump does the car swerve in one direction ? Is it pulling due to ruts ? that would be bad tires and or a bad alignment.
If you had the alignment a year ago, you may want to have it checked.
If it was done incorrectly, that can damage your tires very quickly. Do the tires have tread accross the whole tire or are they cupped ?
The stabilizer is only there to smooth things out.

It does pull when there is a rut. The tires are good with even tread wear all the way across.
There is also a lot of side to side play in the steering wheel. I can take my hands off the wheel at 60mph and it doesn't pull hard but the steering wheel kind of "sways" from left to right.
The other thing I'm noticing is a light knocking sound at low speeds from the left side. The only thing that I haven't changed on the front end is sway bar links.
Yesterday I even went as far as to make sure all the parts were lubed and the brakes weren't sticking. Its getting better but the bump steer is still a pain on the highway.
BTW, Thanks for helping me out. It's driving me crazy trying to get to that Lexus quality ride.
