Question check oil level light problem.

this is for the 2jzgte swapped 1gser's.

So got a problem, my check oil level light keeps coming on and off intermitently. My oil is topped off and I check it daily. Could it be the sensor going bad? Also where is the oil level sensor located on the 2jzgte? I know it should be on the oil pan. Anyone ever replaced this part or know how much it usually runs for?

i got something similar. oil level indicator comes on every other day and only when its hot. Oil pressure is more than fine, 50psi at idle over 70 at 3000 rpm and stable. oil level is fine and i got no leaks. i just ignore it and go with what my gauge tells me. BTW oil pressure was initially checked with a mechanical mechanics gauge.

yeah my oil pressure is fine. I noticed that the check oil level comes on when its hot also. or sometimes after giving the car a little boost. when I have to come to a stop the light turns off for a bit and after 5 mins the light comes back on again. the oil level sensor from the toyota dealer don't come cheap. almost 300.
