Question boost logic built auto or higher stall torque convertor?

Just wondering if anyone is running the boost logic built auto? what are the benefits over a stock tranny also what stall torque convertor are you using? I have 95 gs300 with twin k26 turbo's. was just looking for a way to get some more torque and better acceleration. is it worth getting the built auto or would getting a higher stall torque convertor from preicision industries do the job? thanks to anyone that can help.

I will be running a PI 3400 but would not know the benefit of that over a built boostlogic tranny. But on supraforums most of the drivers using auto transmissions just get a higher stall converter and can easily add more hp. But if its daily driven you usually dont wanna go past a 3500 stall converter.

trd how much did you spend on the set up? I daily drive my car so don't know if getting a built auto would be a bit to much? or would getting a higher stall convertor do the job?

how much did you spend on the convertor? don't know how much power the stock aristo transmission can handle.

I'd say do both, just don't go with a crazy high stall converter if you daily it. I went from VB upgraded transmission with 3200 stall in my 2GS to a bone stock transmission and stock converter and I hate it. Sure it feels soft and comfortable but when you mod your Lexus that much, "stock" feel is out of the question. I boosted my GS to drive it fast so I love the feeling of firmer shifting as opposed to stock slush box. I daily drove it with an upgraded VB and I had no complaints about the firmer shifting. Not only can I live with it, but now I cannot live with out it. I can't wait to get my fully built tranny

got a good deal for $700 on the converter. As far as the stock transmission alot of people say it can only handle 450whp and there are others that claim to have handled 550whp. Dont know if I would trust anything over 450whp but I guess it really depends on how you take care of your transmission. Changing the fluids on time and not boosting on every car next to you LOL.

Valvebody upgrade or "shift kit". It makes your transmission shift quicker and it prolongs the life of your tranny.

You can shim the accumulators if you know what you are doing to firm up the shifts. Check Supraforums.
