Yes, auto only. Stock GS300 axles work fine.

or if you looking for performance opt for the boost logic built auto and higher stall torque convertor. the supra tt auto is good for up to 500hp I believe.

???? What's the DIFF in this answer vs the question? LOL

Here is a write up from the 2nd gen. Same process and I would assume same part numbers - I've looked at sc300, mkiv, sc400, and Gen I GS300 rears, but not Gen2 GS300's.

They SAY its good for 450-500hp, but I blew my TT tranny with 51k miles on it within 1 month of going GTE + TO4Z. I'm running a cooler too. Then I went with a BL built auto..

Does your boost logic built auto SHIFT quickly in 1-2? I have the valve body shim mod done, and the line pressure increased. And my car spools up so quick, it hits the rev limiter before it shifts.

Its funny, I see people claim diffrent things, one guy is making 598rwhp on a stock TT tranny on SF. I personally know a guy making 500 on one. only mod is a valvebody upgrade and another, not sure what he makes but runs 10.02@13x in a 240sx so I guess he is close to 600hp or over (although his is the 1jz auto). he also did a valvebody upgrade. then you have the people who blow them up under 400hp so either it depends on how abused the trannys were or the key to them holding over 500 is to do a valvebody upgrade.

The valve body shim mod and bumped line pressure.

According to raven, the guy who showed everyone how to do it:

it's good for 350-400rwhp with abuse (track/slicks)
400-450 on the street with regular tires
450+ on the dyno.

That being said, you can push way more, (up to 600+rwhp), but it's driving style and time.

I'm running about 300hp now, and my trans runs awesome, but I have TWO huge transmission coolers.

IF I can get my trans to shift quicker from 1st to 2nd (without lifting the throttle), then I'll push it up to about 400rwhp, and just enjoy it. When it eventually breaks, I'm swapping out an R154.
