Default Concept and Execution: one-off Kazz Sports kit

So after about 3 years of designing and conceptualizing the look i want I finally settled for this:

My wheels of choice will be SSR Professors VF1 instead of meisters/professors.

I already started modding the bumper; waiting on the Mode Parfume fog lights (should be here in 2 months) to finish the openings. Made the vents and reduced the opening of the Kazz Sport bumper. The rear bumper will be modded as well but not as much as the side skirts and fenders which will have vents. Exhaust will be similar to this using LS460 exhaust accents:

I will be building the grill centerpiece from aluminum and will powder coat it myself. If it is easy enough (which I think it is since i have 60% completed the prototype) I might start selling it in small quantities.

Here are the colors that didn't made the cut and also the original images I chopped:

Blue:

White:

why red? I like red and it goes great with a CF themed interior!

Original pics:

thought of posting this so you guys know what I have been up to. Will take tons of pics when it is done.

yes, the canards and fogs are inspired from the mode parfume kits themselves; I fell in love with this kit when the phantom line came out
http://www.blowdesign.co.jp/exterior/msp_01.html

Since I had the Kazz kit I decided to mod what i have to fit the fogs and canards from the MP kit.

Been a huge fan of the Mode Parfume brand, specially the red Mark x and the blue jzs161.

Cool project!

One note about that type of hood vent - if it's functional (open) water will drain directly onto the engine when it rains or when you was the car. With the 2J, most of this water will accumulate in the spark plug wells and can eventually lead to the engine 'missing' as the plug wires get shorted out.

You can blow the water out with compressed air or use a wet/dry vac; just be aware that cylinder # 3 and #4 are hard to get to with the intake manifold in the way.

Did you choose a red? Will it be a true red, or more of a Matador Red?

I don't think i'm doing the hood vent since it will add more 'sportiness' to the overall look. But yes, it is true red, trying to stay as a solid red for now; cherry red to be exact, a flame red. I will post pics about the canard fabrication and front bumper mods so far. Akabi:SELECT is finishing up my interior at the moment as well. Black-out interior with red stitching and cf (neffy wrap) accents here and there. Stay tuned!
