sup bro, yeah blue doesn't reflect off of black pavement and the ground as well at a really white light or a yellowish halogen headlight. you should really stick to the stock bulbs if you want quality and performance. but if you want looks go for those cheaper 20 dolllar blue bulbs. if you don't have the money and still want HID's put it on your Credit card like me. and tell yourself you will pay it off next month. LOL. i just finished paying for my HID's like1 month ago. LOL

YES. LOL. the entire front of the car lights up very well. i love pulling up behind a white car. when i'm behind a white car or light color car it looks super bright. also i had my girl friend drive my car and she was following me. MAN these things are bright in the rear view. i also followed her for a while and told her to turn on her blinkers. now i know how other people feel about my turn signals. they are extrememly white and bright also.

Cool

After seeing my friends IS with his stock HIDs, I swore I would ditch my HID lookalike Piaa Super Plasma's, for a real set of HID's, a week after I had them special ordered from Japan . I bought a set of Hella Ballasts/6000k Osram Bulbs last week and put them in. Needless to say, I didn't want to get out of my car . I don't think I've been SO satisfied with something. The color of the HID's are amazing. These 6000k sets look like the first two pictures you posted as your lights are warming up. A nice crystal white with a tinge of blue. Seems that our lighting setup is similar. Cleared corners, real HID's in the low beams, and a set of Piaa Super Plasma's in the fogs . I also have a pair of Super Plasma's in the high beams, but I doubt i'll ever have a chance to use them anyways . Our tint is the same too...5% Charcoal all around and 35% in the front. Also another reason I got the real HID's...the Super Plasma's in my low beams weren't cutting it as far as driving at night goes. Seems as though you're not the only one obsessed with blinding lights .

hey whats up man. yeah we got the exact same setup. the piaa super plasma matches REALLY well with the HID's. i love my light setup now. you should clear out your back lights. look for my post on how to clear the rear turn signals. its really easy. and looks soo much better with super white turn signals.

hey mischief, since your the only other person i know with first Gen GS with HID's. i was wondering if you have black spots in front of your car that light doesn't get to. also do take some night time pictures of your cut off line and the light up of the street to compare them with mine. thanks.
