great lighting, but how much was the kit? what actually come in a kit and who makes it?

i'm actually sellin my kit guys. i'm doing a FULL projector, ballast, bulb and everything retro straight from a New 2000 BMW 5 series. with the full flicker, sparkle. and shine effect. it changes from dark blue to pure white depending on angle. it should be done within the next month.

i am going to go to the other forum and ask a mod to move my other thread with full pics of my car over here.

i'm actually thinking of selling this kit. if i don't sell it i will probly put it into my fog light. LOL. 2 SETS of HIDs = 4 lights coming up on you and blinding the living shiz out of you of you don't move

where ru getting 5 series the projector, ballast, and bulb from? a junk yard? Thats a mod that i've been considering. Do you know if the projector lens will be a direct fit? (as in diameter and depth of the lens)

I have the 6000K Phillips HID setup in my 95 gs3 now... Its pretty sweet, but i like the newer projectors from hella (they make the projectors for bmw and mercedes among others)

I'll post pix of my car soon...

Guys, read the faq about HIDs under the "information" tab, too. I learned a lot from it.

there is a place in Monterey park that is supplying and doinge verything for me for about 750. They take our stock projector and cut off the case of it and epoxy the new lens onto the stock holding. then they also replace the reflector that holds the actual bulb which means i use actual D2 base bulbs. so its a COMPLETE 2001 E39 5 series HID conversion. I'll get pics up when its done.

Dude! hook me up with the address and store name! do they aim it too? 750 is a damn good deal... I'm in the West LA and K-Town area most of the week. I would love to have this done also. Can't wait to see your pics!
