Default Brake pad 'clap' after MKIV front brake swap

After I did this swap I noticed how there was some 'clap' noises coming from the pads hitting the rotor or so it seems...

Checked brake fluid levels and it is all good, been checking the wear and the wear of pads/rotors seems even and ok. No problems breaking but I did notice something that got my attention: people who do this swap say they feel a big difference when it comes down to the brake pedal feel (supposedly more sensitive). In my end, the brake pedal feels just the same... maybe it is just me lol

Anyways, here is what parts I used:

MKIV Supra Calipers (freshly rebuild using 98 TT faces)
MKIV OEM Toyota Rotors
MIKIV OEM brake lines: I couldn't use the GS lines because the brake line 'security' protrusion in the fitting wouldn't go in the caliper. Only the supra lines matched.

I did notice how the supra lines are about 3 inches longer as well... I wonder if this has anything to do with it... or maybe these brakes are just that noisy!?

Maybe the brake pad hardware is worn?

Some how there is too much play with the pads and the calipers. So when the brakes are engaged the pads are pushed into the caliper by the spinning rotor.

I have the same feeling but my question is, why is this happening and how to fix it if everything is supposed to be 'on specs'?

metal spacers on the pads? I know they are thin, but how much movement do you have?
