Default 1996 gs300 wiring diagram/pinouts (R154 swap help)

Looking for wiring digram and pinouts for 1996 gs300. Swapping to r154 and expecting to do some wiring. Anyone out there do this swap on an OBD2? Got the feeling will be more difficult than the OBD1 crowd that had done this in the past.

Read somewhere that i will have to split the speed signal in two for the ecu (reads 2 speed sensors.) Also need to find what wires to jump so it thinks its in neutral/park to start it up.

I would think it wouldn't be too hard to go M/T in a 1996, the two speed sensors are for shifting the 5 speed automatic so as long as it's still got some sort of speed sensing signal from the tranny it should still run fine. Driftmotion does make an ABS sensor for the R154 too, but I don't know/remember if a '96 runs an ABS sensor in the tranny like older models do. You will have to wire in the reverse light wires into the correct pins on the auto harness and like you said jump the neutral signal so it will start. I wouldn't think it'd be much if any different than swapping an A340 (93-95/OBD 1) car as the A350 (96-97/OBD 2) is essentially an A340 with an extra gear and electric pressure modulation vs the cable (A340). Will probably throw codes since OBD2 is more attentive to mods than OBD 1.

I swapped my 1990 Cressida from A340E auto to R154 and only had to jump the neutral switch and wire reverse lights and the car ran fine with the auto ECU except I lost ABS because I didn't buy a ABS sensor from DM.

Thanks for the feedback. Still need to have the driveshaft made and then get it running and then time will tell.

I converted my 96 over to a V160. I have an ultra rare OBD2 5 speed ecu availble for sale if you need one. This would help eliminate any wiring problems with the speed sensors. I'm now NA/T and run an AEM for management so I no longer need it.

will a 93 harness work on a 96 motor?

iam curently swaping a 96 motor in my 93 gs and my trans isnt completly engaging in gear, and it has i think 3 extra plugs on the trans harnes?

so 93 harnes ok on a 96 motor with a 93 trans?

Does anyone have the pinouts on what wires need to be jumped for the neutral safety switch and what plug is for the reverse wires?
