were running 245/35 on a 20x8.5 +35 with no issues.

I would just go down to 19's with 225-245/40-45 if I were you. But that's just my opinion since I'm lowering my car with coilovers and low offsets with tire stretch on 19's with my fenders rolled and pulled. I never looked into 20's much and considered it at one point but it's just not me since I'm not going for any big body kits with a wide look to the kit itself.

21x12 and 21x13 here ... used to be on 20's with the same width.
