you can piece together a kit using stuff from energy suspension. it's kind of a hassle but it'll be worth it in the long run

It shouldn't be that bad. Most Toyota RWD platforms crossover to each other. Especially the late 90's.

I agree with RAMPAGEsd.

www.mybushings.com

or you can try these guys(I've never used them)

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/clu...-and-more.html

_____________________________
www.mybushings.com is a great start(cheap price for polyurethane bushings).. search for the the #2 control arm or caster arm (aka radius arm)--

PIC:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...placeable.html

--requires you to partially loosen(let it hang) the back end of the front sub frame so that you can get it out. it was listed on the australia jzs147 website/forums...(forgot what the site is called.) Once its out, you gotta press out the old, and press in the new(bottle jack standing press at harbor freight tools is about 90$. Or you could use the bottle jack, wood 2x4's, and stairs method).

Here's the various DIY on how to install them...removal of the caster arm requires a few more steps on the first gen:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...aizen-diy.html

INFO ON REMOVING BUSHINGS:

NOTE: At first glance the caster arm bushings and bolts for the 1st gen gs300 and the 2nd gen gs300 look the same but in reality the 1st gen gs300 caster arm bolts are kinda tapered down as you go down the bolt were as the 2nd gen is not.(I have found this info through research, but have yet to compare against the 2nd gen gs300 bolt.)
Keep this in consideration if you are thinking about getting the bushings for a 2nd gen gs300. I'm not saying it will not work, but i dunno.

EDIT: The link on the Australia JZS147 website pointed to his DIY for first gens:

many thanks to "MAD TRBO"

Hope this helps.

PART #'s for the bushing from the Australia JZS147 website:

http://www.jzs147.com.au/forum/viewt...33c2fa7aca5d96

If it were me I would only buy a polyurethane bushing vs the traditional rubber.

Super Pro out of austrailia Makes a bushing kit for the Jzs147. Tein says they distribute them but they really don't. Some of their distributors do. The bushings do get pricey. GL

I've done the caster arms in 1hr 15mins with 2 people and supporting the sub frame with a jack stand and dropping it to the last few threads of the bolts for the subframe. They do sell bushings but i didnt know that at the time. I had junkyard replacments. And the worn bushings were causing the wheel to slide forward when stopping to brake.
