I have the opportunity to buy a clean gs 400 with 242k miles for $5300 after taxes. Ive never had a nice car and will need to take out a loan for it. Anyone got advice?
If you're serious about this car, make sure all the maintenance records are up to date.. carfax, leaks etc... as for the loan, research interest rates.. I'm not sure how much that will run ya
to answer op: HELLS YES. Thats lots of miles. The good thing is that you could find a replacement motor for around 600 bux with way less miles than that.
the car must be in GREAT condition to buy it at that price. matter of fact you might have trouble getting approved on financing with so many miles on the car.
