Hot vaseline oil pump prime!!!!!
I recently lost oil pressure after a standard oil change. My GS300 would only get about 5lbs @idle. After trying everything under the sun, I replaced the oil pump relief valve and spring for around $14.00 w/shipping.Not before heating Vaseline until it liquefied and pouring a 13ounce tub into the relief valve plug. After reassembled, turn over a few times and started!!!! WOW!!! oil pressure like a new pump 40psi at about 300rpm. It sounds great now!!! Just my input to the forum.
