a/c problems pls help!!

hey, for some reason everytime i turn on my a/c itll turn right back off, then the a/c light starts to blink, but some times when i turn it off and on it will stay on and give me no problems, but lately that doesnt work anymore, my a/c compressor doesnt make any noise but when i turn it on it turns right back off, does anybody kno whats wrong with it??? anybody had the same problem?? pls help..

Sounds to me like an issue with your AC belt....I'm not speaking from experience, but all things considered it sounds like an issue with the belt....Does the AC work while driving at freeway speeds? What happens when you turn it on when the cars moving,in park,etc.

yes it woks while driving freeway speeds. when it starts to act up ill just throw it into nutural and rev the motor a lil then itll start working again with no problems. in park is when it acts up the most..

i changed the belt and nothing, it still doesnt work idk what else to do. now it doesnt even work at highway speeds i have to put the a/c at full blast for it to work pls help!!!!

Seems like a lot of issues with the GS A/C - mine is only blowing air throught the Top Vents - aka the Windshield.........and I live in Miami - 90 Degrees.......... OH YEAH!!!!

I had a problem like this and it turned out that the crank pulley was bad on my car. When ever I turned the a/c on the outer pulley on the crank would start to slip. I ended up changing it out with a used one that my mechanic had.
