Took off my usdm twins,pretty hard work Yesterday installed jdm twins back and now car moves like it should. Havent checked the boost yet,but i think its okay. Added Greddy type s bov.
How much is stock boost on Aristo (bar) ??
Bought Ls400 front brake callipers. Still searching for new disks,pretty hard to find with good price. If going back to usdm twins then rebuilding them and add 30% of power. We did that with skyline r33 gtr turbos,now theres 320hp each
Took off side skirts and front bumper and send them to painting.( got them back,looks good)

you swapped in the 2JZ-GTE and put in the stock SMIC? and not FMIC, haha, thought the fmic would be easier.
what was the reasoning for that? just curious

 

When i bought aristo,it didnt work. So didnt want to but unnecessary things. First wanted to get the engine running and then lets see what we can do with that
with Fmic turbo lag isnt bigger with stock settings ?

so far i dont. 95% sure that i have rod knock. Today im removing the engine,and will see wheres the problem. knock is between 2000-2500rpm.
Still having problems with turbo pressure. Has some removed two way system and keeped twins ?

Problem found,rod knock it is. 3rd cylinder is really bad. Main bearings are like new

 

subscribed As for turbo kits, the big turbo's are nice but get a 71mm you will have more fun with it.

The big turbo's work best at very high rpm's and big injectors. all of which equates to lots of petrol! I run VP-C16 and SPL-T51R and it drinks the fuel fast and I eat through O2 sensors almost two times monthly! but its a blast!

 

how to get rid of 180kph speed limit ?
And no i cant pull out trc fuse because i dont have it.
Or only way is speed limit defencer / programmable ecu ?
