Default Spare keys??

Are there any of the hardware stores or big box stores that stock or cut keys for the gs300? The dealership wants $52 just for one spare and it's just a dummy key. . Thanks

And I am aware I can order blanks from eBay but I'd like to just get one now if possible.

Wow thts a deal I paid like 80 something here in Nyc. I thought I was getting the transponder key for tht price, I was sadly mistaken. Although if u have a cracked key on hand you can get a cut key off ebay, and just swap in urs. Here your suppose to get one w the matching frequency which is stamp on the plastic. But even then I here u have to get it programed to wrk w ur car. Please someone correct me if Im wrong.

Mine isn't a transponder key. It's just a normal key. My problem is that I only got one key with the car and it's aluminum. I arty my keys in my back pocket and I have already bent it a little bit. I would really like a steel key if it's possible and wouldn't hurt the tumblers but if that's not an option I'll settle for the aluminum ones.

My local locksmith shop did it for me for $35. Call your local shops and ask if they have a sidewinder key cutting machine. That's the machine they need to cut our valet keys, which is the one you have now.

We have a guy here in Toronto at Finch and Weston in Dollar Store, who cut my key for $ 35. Still working very well.
