Default 1996 GS300 -My family hauler

Hello!

Decided to do little introduction about my car.
I used to have Volvo 1999 C70 T5. Nice car but fwd and since my wife is pregnant, I decided to ditch two-door volvo and went looking for something more suitable.

My main main criterias were that it's have to be big sedan, rear wheel drive and 3 liter inline 6 or small v8. Here in finland you don't find many "big engined" car's easily. I have bought few of my former cars (-95 bmw 750, -00 Volvo s80 T6) off germany via mobile.de internet site. I spotted this very cheap -96 GS300 in original shape and with only 83 000 miles.

Just off the ship, giving it a good wash

Before going to inspection, I decided to do full service to all fluids and brakes.

Old rear brakes

New rotors and pads

Old vs new ball joint

"few" bottles of ATF for transmission flush

New GL-5 oils to rear-end

Old radiator has seen it's best days..

New one from england for 214 dollars. In here it's freaking cheap, don't know how much these cost in us.

Picture after wash and new wheels. Stance is terrible. Thinking about getting bc-racing coil-over kit.

Also have m-tek lights and white parks. Going to get 3000k xenon fog lights. For inside I'm going to replace all the bulbs with white led ones. Already installed pioneer avic head unit, replaced stock sub with 12" hertz hx-300 powered by 750wrms mono amp. Going to also replace those stock front speakers.

I'm leaving to army at july, and my wife needs car so I won't be doing much body mods before I get back from army.

And I also have my 1jz twin turbo 2gen camaro that needs some working..

Welcome to the 1GS fam!

Car looks very clean, aside from the wheels it looks like a Lexus Brochure picture.
Good luck with your army rotation and I'm sure the lady will enjoy her ride

also... pics of the camaro please!

I don't have a lot of pictures of the camaro project, just one poor quality engine shot

I can take better pictures in few days since I have to push it out so I can clean the garage

I like how the Euro Headlights look, just like JDM with the exception of two pieces and the headlights have less lines.
