Default Big noobie spark plug and gasket question

Ok so I was replacing my spark plugs and I noticed oil sitting in the wells. I dabbed out the oil and pulled out the spark plug but I guess I didnt get it all and some oil fell through the chamber. Is that bad? What will happen?

Therefore, I need to replace my valve cover gasket. I called toyota and they told me there were two types. Valve cover gasket for intake side and one for the exhaust side. Question is, which do I need? Is it the intake side?

Sorry for the noob questions. Any help will greatly be appreciated.

Im not 100% sure, but if a little oil went into the combustion it should be fine as it will be burnt off.....as for the gasket, since you'll be taking off the intake manifold to change the valve cover gaskets you might as well change both sides as they are equally as old and deteriorated.

I hated when people told me this in my threads, but I can litterally have the upper intake manifold off of any GE in aproximatly 8 minutes. Tops.

There is a good thread on a how to. If you can find it. Search Spark plug DIY

Can anyone tell me what this one hose circled in the red is called? It has a crack on it. Need to replace it. It's a pretty stiff hose. Wont bend.
