hehe. i just removed my front 35% tint and redid them to 5% like my back windows. now no one can see inside my car at night. and during the day you can barely see in unless there is sunlight directly in front of the car lighting the inside up. My black car with black tints look soo pimped out. LOL.

are you going to get hassled for that by the po-lice? i don't have any tint for that reason. my car attracts enough attention without the tint..... .....with it i'm sure that's enough reason for the po-po to pull me over.

i sure hope not. but its pretty worth it. looks hella nice. and i think fix it ticket is only 15 bucks.

Yeah the tickets may not be as expensive but I heard of some cops ripping out a piece of the tint as a court sample - or so they claim...pretty nasty. Anyway glad you enjoy it!

in europ you can only tint the rear back sides and back window screen.

Yeah, I just redid mine too.
I put 20% all the way around.
I can't be big pimpin' like Jmai,
but I'm trying. I like the way it
looks now. It's a step up from
35%. It gives me more privacy
and I think it looks more classy and
stylish.
It's gangsta like that.

Blue wax, I still think you can pull it off
with 50% or even 35% on the front side
windows. I never lived in Belgium, however
I stayed in Austria, and my friend had 50%
on the front sides. He never had any problems
to this day.

2 LEXOS, ITS TIME, EVERY CAR HAS TO HAVE SOME SORT OF TINT, IT IS LIKE A MUST. IT MAKES EVERY CAR LOOK BETTER IF YOU DO IT RIGHT, YOU WILL BE SO HAPPY YOU DID IT.

I JUST REDID MINE ALSO, I HAD LIKE 35% BRONZE WHICH IS LIKE A BROWNISH TINT, I JUST REDID IT TO 20% CAUSE IT WAS FADED, IT LOOKS PERFECT CAUSE OF THE CHAMPAGNE COLOR OF MY CAR.

I DON'T GET MESSED WITH CAUSE IN THE DAY ITS NOT THAT DARK AND MY CAR LOOKS CLASSY, THEY DON'T REALLY HASSLE ME ABOUT THE TINT IF THEY PULL ME OVER EITHER.

i just got pulled over for a speeding ticket but they didnt' hassle me for my tints. i just rolled down both my front ones and turn on the interior light. and they had the spot lights all on me. LOL

CHMPNGS, can you post a pic. i am thinking of tinting my champagne gs but didn't want that black tint clashing with my car color. i would like to see how it lookd and what it cost...

HERE'S A PIC OF IT BEFORE I REDID IT, IT LOOKS GOOD BECAUSE OF THE OVERCAST BUT WHEN SUNLIGHT HIT IT IT WASN'T DARK ENOUGH, I REDID IT A LITTLE DARKER AND THIS IS HOW IT LOOKS ALL THE TIME.

You askin how much for the tint or the wheels? The tint can be done under $200 if thats what your asking.
But as for the wheels, I got them on the car, it was the key in chosing the car, I would have bought a 98 if I didn't find this one. The guy knew someone at the dealer and someone traded them in for the 16's cause they didn't like the ride of his 400, so he got a deal on them and had them chromed. You can get them on ebay, there are a few on there, there are alot of the 17 in IS300 rims chromed on there(very similar).

looks great but someone just told me that the bronze tint turns red after awhile. have you heard of this problem?

It all depends on what brand of tint you get, one of my friends has been tinting for 8 years and he uses Sun Guard and he says it won't fade and mine is done with shoot I forget the name well it is guaranteed not to fade or they replace it, if you go to a decent shop just ask, its the type not the color.

actually most tints that you see change color is due to cleaning the inside of the class with products like windex. you are only suppose to wipe the inside glass with plain water.
