Gap.
Blue,
You and I both know that your subconcious(spelling) is telling you to drop the car. So why are you fighting it? Just like Richie said,
"Drop it, da*n it." Believe me if you are worrying about your gaps so much, you will like it when your car is dropped.

If you lower the car with springs, it is highly recommened that you change the shocks because the stock shocks not last very long after a lowering job. Once the stock shocks go, your car will bounce multiple times over a bump, just like those ricer Civics.

Get the TIENs from the start. Once you lower, stock shocks go. Your ONLY replacement option that will handle the abuse after that is the TRD setup ($700 from RMM). That puts you at roughly $1100-$1200 after installation and alignment (including your springs). About the same if you would have gone TIEN except that with the TIEN you can go as low as you want. Just my opinion.
