Default Exhaust leak on 95 gs

I inspected the exhaust system and the left side muffler has rusted where the pipe enters it, this is causing the muffler to sort of hang slightly sideways and also created a small incision along the top of the pipe where the muffler hugs it because its hanging. Pics coming. But the sound seems to come from the front underside of the car. Has anyone had issues with the exhaust flanges on the GS. I'm trying to get a general idea of what fails on the exhaust system on most cars with the same setup. I'm gonna take it to my local muffler shop but would like to be kinda up on my GS knowledge first.

I've had a cracked rear exhaust manifold and it appears that the new one I installed two years ago is now cracked as well. Sucks.

I was researching and found that happens to a lot of LS400, the part of the exhaust up front has a piece that splits into two pipes and it cracks in the middle. I have not looked at that part of the exhaust yet but is that the part you are referring to?
