Default how hard is it to replace spark plugs??

I hear u gotta remove the manifold.

I have replaced the spark plugs in 2 - gs300;s without removing the manifold. It can be done... PATIENCE IS STILL A VIRTUE.
What you need is 2 of the 3/8" "elbows", a 3 inch extension, and a longer extension. It worked for me by connecting the socket to an elbow, then the 3" extension to that elbow, then the other elbow to the 3 inch, then the longer extension to the 2nd elbow. Carefully work from the back (closest to the firewall) side of the manifold. Visibility is not good, you will have to go by feel.

I did the problem spark plug with all of the other plugs installed... Why??? ... because before I entirely removed the problem plug, I ran a small rubber tube down near the base of the plug and blew air to clear away sand that always seems to get in there, even past the spark plug boot seal.

This has worked on 2 cars..... I would think a little patience is quicker than removing the intake manifold.

yeah I'll do anything to do em myself; a Toyota dealership here quoted me $450:eek: their outta their minds I just laughed.

Default SPARK PLUGS

i hv done mine once. you need to take the whole intake out,
including vaccum hoses, and 4 bolts tht holds the throttle body
together. dont need to take out throttle body, in my case, i just
spread it wide open so i hv access on #4 and #5 cylinders, which wz the hard part of gttting the spark plug out. #1, #2 and #6 are pretty easy.....well, to me.

Whatever you do, DONT REMOVE THE ENTIRE MANIFOLD!!!

I did mine last week and spent about 45 minutes doing it.

You do have to remove the throttle body, but other than that it is straight forward.

I think the trickiest part was removing the heater hose that attaches to the throttle body on the driver side (back of) the throttle body. There are a few vacuum hoses that attach to it but typically you will not mix them up as they almost fall back in to place. Remove the 4 nuts that hold the throttle body on and slide that sucker out of the way. It really isn't that hard, don't be fooled. If you wouldn't feel comfortable doing normal maintenance on your car, don't attempt this. If you are reasonably capable person, you should not have a problem.

I found out that a needle nose plier with a 45 degree bend easily takes off the lower heater hose.
