Sounds like a Radio Shack question. Should be easy, just tap the wires with a sensor which probably comes with a little remote. (probably doing this behind the switch itself would be most effective in case you need additional power)
Problem is, how is the alarm going to know that you didn't break into the car and pull that handle? That's where it could be complicated.
Hey Jmai, what speakers did you put in your car? I remember reading somewhere that you liked the sound and you didn't have to drill holes for the front speakers. Ease of install is what I'm looking for.
Sorry 'bout the off topic.

actually my car took myself and my brother a little over a week to finish. Thats with me working on it 1-2 hours a day. LOL. first week i had my car i stripped the whole car. only thing inside my car was my driver seat. i took out the back seat, front seat and all the carpet and ran all new wires and everything all at once.
As for the front doors. i'm running MB Quart Component speakers. The Tweeters fit perfectly into the stock tweater. just remove the stock one and put in the MB Quart. But the 5.14 that goes in the door i had to modify the battle a little. i used a dremel to modify it. its hard to explain but when you get your speaker and you try to install it you will see what i'm talking about. i think you will have to do this with any speaker you try to install in the front door.
As for the back doors the stock ones are 5.14 also but i did a little modification and put in 6.12 Component speakers in the back door. I just took out the baffle and had some work done. As for the tweeter in the back door i just mount them on there with 1 screw. Its held on by the inside of the door.
Ok back on topic. LOL. well of course i would unlokck the door before i open the trunk so thats the least of my worries. but where would i tap into the the circut that opens the trunk. does this little radio shack thingy come with a remote and sensor??

Directed Electronics makes the Valet 711T and 710T.
The Valet 711T Keyless Entry with On-Board Relays is a 3 channel system with two remote transmitters, and on-board relays for channel 2, door locks, Domelight Supervision, and parking light flash.
The Valet 710T provides outputs for channels 2 and 3, plus Panic Mode, chirp confirmation, +/- door lock outputs, and Domelight Supervision.
so you just hook that up to your trunk release wire and there you go and it'll unlock and lock your doors two....
