And the setup hasn't changed. Just tuned now...well for C-16. So it still runs rich when I'm puttin around town on pump gas. That was an untuned run in the vid btw.
Suspension, wheels and exhaust has changed tho.

Hey dew511, I am wanting to transplant a 1J into my car, got some questions for ya. Since as far as I know, you are the only person I've seen who's done it. Who did your wiring, or did you do it, and what harness did you use?

I wondering if I should just get an Aristo harness and have it made to work with the car, or should I have my stock GS harness made to work with the 1JZ engine.

Also what mounts did you use? Will our factory 2JZ-GE mounts work on a 1JZ?

Forgive me for asking what might be stupid questions, I know all about putting a 1JZ into a MKIII, but not so much the Lex.

Also your dyno vid gives me hope for my 1jz in my Supra, had it dyno'd a long time ago and made 320 rwhp, but it like 10.0's to 10.6's rich. I have been working on leaning it out using the old school Emanage blue,
might be outdated but it works.

 

Hey whats up. I did the wiring into the GS. I originally had it in a Supra MK3 also. Im also running the Wolf 3D standalone Ecu so that makes it way easier.

I would say to get the Aristo harness and have it work with the car rather than use the stock GS harness.

The mounts Im using are the 95/96 Supra mounts I believe. They are the semi-solid ones. The factory gs300 mounts should work but are full rubber and are probably on their way out anyways.

Yeah... that pull was untuned, 16lbs and did 309whp. After being tuned for race gas but still using 93 pump, I pulled with a turbo sc making 400 to the wheel and I was barelllllly inching on him. Plus I had 3 extra ppl with me. So the car is atleast making 400+ now... on pump.

 

Ye tell him dude from toronto canada who had a cressida, not pushing the Gs300 still has the greddy sp to sell to him.. I need to make a trip down to the tri state
