Default I want to buy a 93 lexus

hi guys,

I love the lexus 93 gs300 and I would like to get one. My budget is low. about $6500 but I have seen some for this price.

Is this a good price or do you think the cheap ones have something really wrong?

also, the choice is between the lexus and a 98 toyota camry. I want the lexus but I also want reliability. How reliable would the lexus be compared to the camry. The camry I am looking at has 110k miles and 93 gs's under 7g usually have about 130+k miles.

I really appreciate any help

Default Maybe

$6500 is cheap and you may fine some with high miles, don't get me wrong they are very reliable cars but if you have a low budget like that I would second guess buyin one, they are alot of $$$ to fix, but thats your decision....

QUESTION: I found a dealer about 60 miles from me who has a 1993 GS300 in excellent condition and wants $6000 for it. It has 178,000 miles on it.

I found another guy about 90 miles from me who has a 92 ls400 with only 102k miles and he wants 6500.

Which is the better deal?

I prefer the body shape of the GS, but I dont know how well they will hold up after 178k miles.

Default GS

It depends on the condition of the cars, compare, most people who have had lexus' have taken very good care of them and serviced them correctly. If you like the 93 and it is in nice shape, and you think you can afford if somethin breaks get it they are nice cars.

thats a bad milage to get a car if it hasn't been taken care of. be prepared for replacement of water pumps or some other stuff like that. could get pricey at that milage if not taken care of CORRECTLY from past 100,000 miles.
