Default Intercool options for GTE swap?

I got decided on a GTE swap into a 1GS and I just want to know what the most straight-forward intercooler setup is. Is FMIC the best way to go? Any bolt-on options? Minimum fabrication is always preferred. I did a bunch of searching and couldn't come up with much. It was either custom or SMIC with clip. Thanks in advance!

greddy makes a kit, but they're not that easy to find now, and sometimes expensive, but you gotta pay to play.

considering your putting an engine into a car that "isn't suppose to be there" your most likely going to have to fab up something

Well, it is supposed to be in an Aristo. It's the SMIC that's 'not supposed to be there' in the GS front clip. Eh, I got no problem. The universal kits on eBay are cheap enough. What size piping is everyone using (though I can search and find that, I wanted some new discussion)

do you have a GS300 or an aristo?

cause the FMIC wasn't suppose to be in either cars. so your going to have to fab something up. unless you wanna pay for it. the SMIC from an aristo is good to over 400whp. it's mainly the bling factor your after if you want/"need" a FMIC.

even then, if you go wit hthe sMIC your going to need to change and fab up a lot of things. the FMIc would be easier, specially if you know a place that will weld a bracket to it

It's a GS300. The issue is, I can't find a SMIC. The ones I can find, I don't wanna pay for. Last question, do I need an in-line BOV for stock twins??

I am unsure what your question is, the pipes are 3" in diameter.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/UNIVERSAL-30...b45eae&vxp=mtr

That is very similar to what I bought, if not the same thing.

Sorry, I should have been clearer. What are the dimensions of the actual intercooler?

I have an fmic and minimum fabrication is required. I just made brackets to hold the fmic on...pretty straight forward application because there are so many places to mount it.
I torched some steel plates and bent them to fit..drilled holes in the plate and bolted it on. Bent aluminum tabs for the top and drilled holes on the aluminum piece and bolted it on.
