Thanks bro! I have to take some more with them clean during the day. I've always liked that style of exhaust. I wish Megan made an axle-back bolt-on option for the GS. Sucks that they forgot about us even the second gens too.

Just alittle teaser pic of my ALSTADT 3pc 19s I had sitting in the safe...lol. They are 19x8.5 / 19x9.5. Not sure which car to put them on. Its gonna be either the 1st or the 2nd gen GS3. Any thoughts guys.....

I know its slow, but its steady. Thinking of either doing some Megan EZ coils or MK4 stock suspension, maybe with springs. I also have an Aristo Torsen diff sitting if the engine goes down and I have to replace it. Likely replacement will be a GTE.

exhaust definitely needs to hug closer to the rear bumper.

Can't get any closer, because I'm using the stock piping and the casing is bigger than the factory units. Also, the angle of the pic might be deceiving slightly, because of the angle. If you look at the top pic it gives a better representation of the gap.

Quick update....I finally drove the car on the street after close to 2yrs. Felt good to drive the old gurl. It drives and feels very different from my 2nd gen. Anyhow, on my way to get her inspected I planted the right foot and she hit a flat spot then off she went. Five seconds later, up pops a check engine light.
Like I figured, she didn't pass state inspection with a excessively high Nox. Got back to my boy's shop and tested the EGR. No problem there. Did pull the code and its an O2 sensor, 28 code. That will be sourced today.
There other thing is the AC is blowing hot/cold. Put the gauges on it, everything looked good. Did notice the condensor fan/rad. fan not coming on. Checked for power....good. Did the wiggle and tap test on the relay...problem found. Will be visiting the junkyard today folks.

Quick up date....Went fishing today and hooked a couple of things for the "G". I got another center console, because the old one suck. The other was the self distructing shifter. I'm sure you'll will agree the changes were needed. Both replacements took 20mins.
Last, but not least, got another cluster too. The speedo stopped working on the other one. The new one has an airbag light, which I'm not sure where that came from.

Yesterday, I did alittle improvement to the car. I finally replaced the wood around the driver and passanger side power window switches. Had them sitting for months, but finally got around to it.
