Default My Contribution to the 1st Gen Fam.

Whats good folks. Been posting for awhile now, but never did a formal intro. Names Omar and this is the first Lexus I bought back in 2007. Its a '93, which has served me well for sometime. First saw these cars in the Jay Z video and said I have to own one.
Well, she used to be my DD for sometime until the engine shutdown on me and would not start, on my way to work about 1yr and a half ago. Ever since then, she has been sitting without even looking back. She was kind enough to donate a distributor to my Sc3.
So recently, I decided to start rounding up parts to get her running again. I will post pics and talk about some of her needs. Yes, a major detail is on the top of the list.

Like I mentioned, I've started to do some reconstruction the Gs3 and decided to start with something simple like the ashtray. I have two plus the original. Just used one for parts.

Anymore info on the megan mufflers? Part number, tip diameter? Have any side shots of the car? are they visible from the side?

Sorry for all the questions, I like those alot and might get them for both my cars.

Thanks for any info

I think you can find those on ebay, i think their app is a SC300, I've heard they cross over to the GS, this seems to clarify that!

They sound like factory. Surprisingly, I have never taken the silencer inserts off to hear what they sound like. One day....lol. Once you don't remove the resignators, which are upstream on our exhaust system, they will they are like factory with way better flow.
These are universal or weld ons. The SC options are bolt on. To make them bolt up the flange has to be cut and rotated to line up. I test fitted them on a 95 sc400 way back when. I will be putting a set on my SC in the future.

I also love the finish. Its was a year and half since I'd washed the car and this pics was take a week after it was washed. They still shine . Haven't regretted the buy yet.

Oh, they are 3" tips without the silencers. 2" with them on.
